Re: Jim Bob a build thread

nice!

I bought "warm white SMD LED's" in stead of the "superwhite LED's"...they easier on the eyes and look more natural...the blue-ish from the superwhite LEDs normally hurts my eyes...and the warm whites look very natural...

thats what I did...

thanks
i had the regular bulbs changed to red but couldn't see
seen these instore for a while,
having just done the change to the tach figured nows the time
looked at small leds from "the source" or rad shack ....to small
buying two red leds was almost 10.00 and i needed more then two
didn't think they would dim,not that dimming was needed in red
tried from the sides pointing in but not nearly as good as this
and the paint was the best improvement idea by far

Re: Jim Bob a build thread

just checked i hadn't mentioned i've done the radio there before....
using the metal straps for bracing
78 burb and the 87
I fit the older reg head unit(shown before)and the crossover under it
it had been hit and I started taking the radio out so it looks loose,
but it will take a 1.5 din there

No AC ,
Don't smoke cigarettes
lol may help avoid a rear ender
Can actually read the display
And pickup a trim piece to go around the head unit
And a I phone holder
Wife n Son paid for the radio and 4 speakers for my birthday yesterday.
