Really need help
Can someone please tell me what the backspacing requirement is on an 8" rim for a stock 1984 4x4? I'm gonna miss the chance to buy this set of rims if I don't act fast but I don't want to buy something that won't work.

On my stock 15x8 rims its 4 inches. Those rims are 5 lug so Im not sure if there is a difference between backspacing for a 4x4.

Thank you, MylilBowtie, I appreciate the help.
I called my local tire and wheel store (don't know why I didn't think of that earlier haha) and found out that yeah, it's about 4 inches. I found a set of rims for sale that I like but they're listed as fitting "71-93 4x4 blazers and 88-98 1/2-ton pickups"... which doesn't make sense because anything that fits an '84 4x4 blazer should also fit an '84 1/2-ton truck. I think it may just be listed wrong or something but before I spend that kind of money I like to check things out, know what I mean. Anyhow, thanks again. : ) |
