new truck and parts avalable
ok i bought this truck the other day for 500 it came as you see it but in peices, it also came with a complete cab and 12 ton axels with 3.73 gears reason being that i put the 1 ton axles under this one.
the people on the board say i have an np 203 t case but with the new dana 44 i put in the front i have locking hubs so does that mean if i unlock the hubs i can cruise in 4 hi as if i was in 2wd? also where can i pick up some front calipers, rear shues+spring kit for my dana 44/14 bolt FF? o yeak i put a 6inch suspention 3inch body lift under it i think some 36x12.5x16.5 super swamper TSL's are coming soon, just for a reference there are 36's on it in the pic -thanks -kyle

Very nice truck You have the same valve covers I do. Yes you put the transfer case in 2Hi and then only the rear wheels work. If you engage the transfer case to 4hi or 4low the ransfer case will try to turn the front end Nothing will work unless you lock in the front end. You will also do damage to your transfer case with the truck in 4hi or 4low without the hubs locked. Hers some pics of my 76 GMC stepside under restoration

$500.....and it runs.....you stole it. I'm not into 4X4 stuff, just wondering, are all 4X4 driveshafts coming out of the front transfer case? that severe of an angle? It's not that important, I'm just curious and snoopy You still got a good deal |

to answer the question about the locking hubs and the 203, you can buy a kit for the 203 to convert it to part time. |

I also was leaning towards it being unhooked too.
