rally or not?
how can i tell, by looking if a wheel is a rally wheel or just an old steel wheel?

Pretty much stock looking but 8 lug
Truck Rally rim 6 lug (4x4) and 5 lug (4x2)

so the rallies have square holes cut into them? and thats it?

If you mean "can I drill holes in the plain steel wheel?" then no. Unless you are well versed in finite element analysis, I wouldn't recommend it. The wheels would fail, possibly catastrophically.
