68 with......

hey guys!
I was looking on canadatrader.com, it shows a 68 chevrolet, with the top and bottom molding and a 2 tone paint job like the 71-72's came with. I know its a long link but could you look at the truck and tell me if they came like that!

Well, the upper and lower trim is definately 1969-72. He says it has a 350, which would also say '69 and up. But, he has a 327, too. The front end is '68. Do you think that it is actually a '69, with a '68 cap and he kept the upper and lower side trim. According to my book, there were two 2-tone paint styles available. One of them had the roof painted white. The other had white upper and lower secondary colors. I think it's a repaint, in the 71-72 style.

That's not a factory paint scheme for 68. It looks to me like a 69 with a 68 nose.
