Evergy Suspension Poly vs Stock Rubber Body Mounts?

The PO replaced all the body bushings with a new Energy Suspension body kit...........but the old truck rattles and shakes a bit much......i know for a 35 year old truck w/o a top one can't expect too much........especially when the frame is as soft as it is.......

But has anyone gone from poly to rubber chassis mounts and seen a big improvement?

I know rubber is softer, and ought to ride better, but as anyone who has replaced body bushings knows, it is a tough job to r/r the mounts and shim everything again.

I don't mind doing it if it will make a difference......

What do you think? Will 1/2 my rattles and squeaks disappear with rubber?

I replaced all the old rubber on my 71 with poly- springs, body, trans monts, etc- tightened the old girl right up- put a bright red dress on her and it seems to ride like new. Don't think I'll ever go back to rubber. My .02
