Hinge pins

Looked around on the paint and body board for awhile but didn't see anything. I tried to get the old pins out but they don't seem to want to come out. Is there some kind of small retaining device I missed that is unique to factory door pins? My cheapo Chilton's book is no help either. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the door hinge pins. Some pins are swedged at the bottom (flattened slightly to prevent them from walking up). If you can see a "squished" portion of the pin you can cut it off with a dremel and then drive the pins out. Also, if the pins are very worn, you may have to get the hinge lined up just right to allow the non-worn portion of the pin to pass cleanly through the hinge.

How hard is the top one to replace? Bottom one looks real easy.

Easiest way I have found to them is to mark the hinge mount, put a jack under the door to hold it and take out one replace the pin put it back and do the other one. If you mark it should line right back up.
