Kick down on 79 454/TH400 Burban???

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Guys,

Have a quick question on the kickdown of a 454/TH400 79 Burb.

Is the kickdown electric under the gas pedal or is it from the cable on the carb?

Thanks

Stacey

my 85 has it on the gas pedal I think it was only the older trucks say 67-72 that were carb mounted.

Tired of seeing this thing sitting in the box. Please help.

Thanks.

Hey Dcraner,

Beats me how it mounts.... But when I get my Burban here I will snap a photo for you and try and trace the wiring out if no one here has one already available.

I have to do the same thing myself soon.

Regards

Stace
