How do I hook horn button up on new steering wheel?
I just installed a GM steering wheel out of a 94 Chevy truck into my 85. I love it. It feels much better than the old, thin, original steering wheel. My question is, how do I hook up the horn button with the new steering wheel. I think that I may be missing some parts, but I don't know for sure. Does anyone have any pics on how this goes together?

I just did this--only in reverse! Your new wheel should have a tab that plugs into a female wire connector (that doesn't exist on your truck). You need to use a short piece of wire with a female end, and connect it to the metal plunger that sits on a small spring in the plastic canceling cam that circles the shaft/nut that holds on your steering wheel.
You'll have to play around with the length of wire, and I'm sure I haven't described it well, but if you look at the inside of your new wheel, I think you'll understand what I'm trying to say. |

or just go to your GM dealer, and buy the proper wire for the steering wheel. it will plug right in.
