These numbers are on the ring gear in my rear end - 12 bolt.

3817778 does this have any meaning?

11:41 does this mean 3.73 gear ratio?

12 69 2 could this be the date of manufacture?

I beiieve the first no. to be a GM part no. and you are right on gear ratio and year of manufacture
