Got some new wheels !
Picked up some new wheels for the work truck yesterday, they werent the exact rims I wanted but they are close. Woo hoo now I just need some tires, have to wait for some more $$$$

looks good. your going to need a conversion lug to get the caps to work. the newer model lug nuts are metric and you've got standards.

you guys have metric studs even in the US? call me ignorant if u want but i didnt think u guys had the metric system

Our military uses metric on their blue prints.
America is slowly coming around to the metric system. I havent worked on many newer america cars, but the ones I have worked on were mostly metric hardware.

moonlight - I think that's a good deal on the lug nuts, I have been looking for some as well, thank's for the link.
pissonNOS - Yep, we are beginning to be cursed with metric stuff here too. Almost everything new here is metric. Now we need 2 tool sets to fix stuff. I just love some of the crazy stuff that GM did in the mid to late 80's - some things were standard and some things were metric on the same truck, and some bolts have standard thread but you need to use a metric wrench! |
