Pics of the '75 Blazer... aaaalmost finished!
Well, the Blazer is heading to the Upholstery shop tomorrow, and I've been wanting to post some pics for a while, but wanted to get as close to 'finished' as possible. Anyway, here's a few pics of what she looks like so far.
I wanted to thank everyone who has had input and helped out on the project from these boards. The boards and experience of the members was invaluable for a first time frame off restoration. The friends I have turned on to the boards have thanked me many times as well! N2TRUX, thanks for the tips, Bigblock73, thanks for posting my chassis as a link to your 73-87.com Garage section, Bouncytruck, thanks for the Photoshop help, and theirs been many more. I'll post more after returning from the upholstery shop and getting the stereo system completed. Of course, my link has the entire restoration recorded. My plans for the truck are to be finished in time for Autorama here in San Antonio, at the Alamodome on February 25-27. From there on to Texas Heat Wave in Austin this summer. Thanks again, Greg.

Can you tell a little more about the heater core hose setup? I guess they are heater core hoses, anyway I like the way its setup a lot.

WOW, thank you for all of your support and positive responses! It has been a lot of fun and work, and your comments mean a lot!
N2TRUX, you were right, building a 4wd showtruck was tricky, and some of the decisions made along the way were not always popular ones, but as you said, it has come together nicely. The System Diagram shows the stereo system which will be powered by a dedicated Yellow Top battery. I'm installing a dual battery set up similar to the Blazer Chalet, so if parked, the battery can drain, and not affect the engine battery and starting capabilities. Of course, the alternator will charge both. Mylilbowtie, the A/C system installed is a 'Sure Fit' unit from Vintage Air. In Texas, you have to have your A/C, even when Topless! The evaoporator, heater core and blower installs under the dash. It uses the same control knobs and the glove box insert is replaced with one that is a little smaller. The compressor is part of a 'Front Runner' package that includes a single serpentine belt, and compact placement in front of the big block. The technology is driven from their hotrod line of A/C kits in which everything has to be compact in order to fit under the Model A and Model B hotrod hoods where there is very limited space. Fortunately space is not a problem under these hoods! Here's a pic of the Front Runner with single belt:

Thanks again to everyone's fantastic response, and compliments, they are really appreciated.
1974ChevyC10, the Vintage Air front runner (Single Serpentine belt) can be set up for non A/C cars, but I don't think it would be economical to set up a Vintage Air heater only set up. They may have one, but I'm not sure. Their website is www.Vintageair.com. Talk to Mark there. Also, be sure and tell them where you saw the set up. He has been considering using the truck in some advertising. Modmach1, the clean firewall is part of the Vintage Air setup as well. When you rake out the GM evaporator, you replace the opening with a metal blank supplied by Vintage Air. Then a little welding, body filler, and whalla! Well, it wasn't quite that easy Slonaker, the truck's going to be at Mark's Upholstery in Converse for the next few weeks. If you're ever in the neighborhood there, stop by and take a look. Greg.

That is a really sweet looking Blazer.
I'm just curious Greg, I'm not too familiar with the Blazer's but is that roll bar standard equipment or aftermarket? If it is aftermarket where did you get it? Thanks, Larry
