Post How heavy is a Long bed

I'm going to remove the bed from my longstep and replace it with a fleetside.
How many guys will be required to remove it?

By the way my longstep bed will be available soon. The bed has good fenders and steps.

Two guys can lift it but getting it lifted high, like over wheels can be tough. Better have 4 buddies to ensure success with minimal body damage. lol

It looks like 4 is the number to shoot for.

That's funny you should say that. When I asked a friend of mine to ride with me to pick up the replacement bed he only asked for beer.

It truly is liquid gold!!!

GMC-
Me and my father lifted my wooden long bed stepside off no problem, and he is not as strong as he used to be. You shouldn't have much problem. Good luck!
