High Voltage hei coil and modules

Will changing from a factory coil and module on a 355hp crate motor to a proformance coil and module make a big difference. Also wondering if it would require a hotter plug. I'm trying to squeeze out all the power I can without switching to MSD and external coil. Any help or suggestion welcome.

Redline on that engine is 5800 rpm so stock setup will work ok.

To sum it up Ive used a accel super coil on three vehicles so far and the msd hei module improved starting is a first and to top it off it almost like having a 6al in a way .They seem all peppier from idle to 3000rpm so make your own call. I wouldnt have a stock hei setup after this .

70 nova 2 72 chevy trucks and all runnin accel super coil in cap and msd hei modules.

yea the better coil and module will help stock stuff starts dropping spark right around 4500rpm and acts as a rev limiter. the hotter coil will do a more complete burn on the fuel resulting in better mileage and a better running engine and even more power

Got a stock setup on my 502HO (the one GM sells for it) and have no problems of running out of spark at any RPM. (5800 redline)
