Need To Find..... Who Knows Where......?
Need to find weld-on axle/spring perches for a 14 Bolt 10.5" Full floater that are long enough to accept U bolts running through them. Using the stock 3/4 ton U bolts.
Anybody know who sells these?? Thanks, 72longbed |

Check with your local 4 wheel drive shop. I had to replace some on a dana 60. They cost about $20.00 Woody

Rear end saddles
I assume you are putting the rear under a coil spring truck? If so I put a FF 14 bolt under a 68 coil spring truck. I was able to find the weld on sadles at a local Nascar team. They use them to put 9" under winston cup cars. They even had the correct angle to bolt right up to the trailing arms! Pretty sweet deal! They were cheap to, I think I gave $20 for both. Anybody who supplies to Nascar should be able to get them. Try BSR Products. They are a HUGE Nascar parts supplier here. Hope this helps.

BBB,
could you check for me where you got those please? I like the fact that they were already cut for the proper angle of the trailing arms. Your price is much better than BSR also. Let me know if you can track down where you got them and what you paid please. Thanks, 72longbed |

Saddles
72longbed,
Unfortuantely, BSR is going to be your best bet. I had a friend that had a friend that worked at Curb Motorsports. Thats where mine came from. Unfortunatley he no longer works there so If I was needing a pair I would have to go to BSR. I am sure that is where they came from. They may be $$$ but they are a true "weld" on. Very nice pieces. Hope this helps. BBB |

Look in the yellow pages for spring/truck frame shops. There is on here that makes springs and so on.

front axle
Good news Phil, I found 2 complete front axles in the garage. I'll grab the flashlight tomorrow and check to see what exactly they are. I know the one came out of a 71. I can't remember what the other is (it may be the 79). Brian

axles
They're both 8 lug. I'm such a parts whore. I think I might have even been planning on using the 71 until I bought the local one with all new rotors, etc. I must have forgotten about it. I haven't ventured into the rearend pile in the garage for a while. What a mess..............
