Pickup cab on Blazer frame

Anyone ever seen this done? Envisioning super-shortbed. Any pics?

There is also a company that offers a panel for Blazers that fills the opening behind the front seat to make it into a short pickup.

Thumbs up

Yes there are a couple of half cab panel manufacturers for Blazers and Broncos.
http://www.creproonline.com/ will get you to the one site I can think of right now. Creative Products of Minnesota is the company name. They also make a hard toneau cover to go with the half cab panel. The half cab conversion runs about $695. The cool part is it can be converted back to a full Blazer top in about 30 minutes.
email them at mailto:crprod@frontiernet.net and request the info brochure.
Specialty Top Co offers soft top conversions for Blazers and Broncos as well.

I thought I had a deal worked out with a guy to buy one of those rear panels, but he hasn't returned my calls for a while.
He didn't have the lower "bulkhead" from them so I called and sent e-mail to them. Phone # was redirected to a different # that sounded residential and they never called back. E-mail came back undeliverable?

Not knocking the truck but I think if the bed were shortened up a little more, centering the wheel in the wheel well, it would look a lot better.

No offence taken. That is my 1st box that I did, and yes it is not short enough. With the lower back box side cut off, it makes it look worse then what it is. I have a 2nd one that is shorter.

Kevin 70. I don't what's up with the company. The web site is still there listing 800 # and email addy. I sent off for the brochure several years ago (2001)while I had my 85 Blazer with intention to do the conversion. I like the looks of them. Mine would have been perfect for it since it was the base model with rubber floor mats and vinyl seats. But a guy bought it before I got around to doing it. I still have the brochure though.
