3/4 ton brake assemblys
I have a 69 3/4 ton with corporate eaton style rear axle. I believe the brakes are 2x12 ( I haven't gotten in there yet to measure. I have a rear axle out of a 72 that has what looks like bigger brakes. The stud size is also bigger on the hubs for the wheel lug nuts. Will the bigger brake/ hub assemblys bolt on my 69 axle????

I believe so. You plan on swapping the backing plate and the hub? The studs should be 1/2" on the 69 and 9/16" on the 72.

I've done this swap before and you will have to swap everything....backing plate, wheel cylinder, hardware, drum, shoes & etc.

Please think about this a second before you dive in.
If the bigger brakes are the 15 inch size, you will pay very, very dearly for brake parts. Wheel cylinders run 70 bucks and shoes 130 bucks. Thats near 300 bucks for just a basic brake rebuild. I'm in the middle of this hell on my 72 dually right now.

I do believe these are 12s but wider than the 69s. Yes I would transplant everything.
