grounds
does anyone have pics of where the chassis grounds should be or could take some pics? and where could i get the ground straps? any help would be greatly appreciated.

most auto parts stores have the braided steel lines for the grounds with the fittings

Placement is not that important, and you can never have to many. Just run one from the frame to the engine block (near the fuel pump works well) from the rear of the engine to the fire-wall (use a bolt screwed into an accessory hole on the back of the head), and one from the frame to the radiator support. While you are at it run one from the frame to the bed (near the rear bumper by the wiring harness) and check the ground wire on your fuel tank. Connect the negative battery cable to the engine block.
