Id swap the tag if your truck is clean/legit,why not file for a title.some states require a bond title or a reister it for so many years/then they issue a titlte.a call to local state patrol you can find the last registered owner, but last case for me is to bolt on other cab, will fit no prblem.Lot of work, remove nose etc,be esier if bed was outta the way but a couple strong buddies some boards youll get it.myself and my 17 brother have worked them off and on several times.Remove the seat and some heavy crap first.Heck just the 2 of us have loaded cabs in the back of my pickup, and ive unloaded by myself with the help of some sturdy lumber.
