1/2 OR 5/8 airline?

I am about ready to mount my bags and run the lines. Now heres my prob. I am running 8 1/2 valves fill/dumps, 2 comps and 2 5 gallon tanks. The airline I have now is 1/2. Should I just upgrade to the 5/8 to take full avantage of the valves? I herd it would be a little harder to control but I could bounce the car if I wanted to Is any one running 5/8 line here?

THe 5/8 o.d. line is very hard to bend and personally I think the 1/2" valves with 1/2" line is too fast for a daily driver.

Its a good thing this is not my daily driver then....... This is my fun truck for the weekends

If you are looking to hop alot then sure run 5/8" line but get ready to pay for the fittings. One of our customers truck gets off the ground with only 160psi on 1/2 line and 1/2 parker valves. Our shop truck with 140psi would hop off the ground a couple inches with 1/2 blitzluft valves and 1/2 line. But it had no motor our tranny. 1/2" is plenty of airline unless you are hopping for height!

My buddy runs 5/8 on his f150 its fast but he don’t have any problems but I think he runs low psi it is his only vehicle ....I will be running it as well if I ever have time to put it on

1/2" lines 3/8" valves hop my front about 2", and the rear almost leaves the damn ground at 175 PSI. 1/2" is good!!!

id run the 5/8ths and use inline ball vlaves to slow it down to daily drive.



you can allways go slower. but it gets mutch harded to go faster.

arent you limited by the smallest size in the chain? like on a 5/8th with a 1/2 valve you would only be able to go as fast as the 1/2? I have no clue just asking for info.
