the problem with the cheaper units is they use aftermarket and japenese or korean parts to rebuild them.. ive had transmissions rebuilt by the cheaper rebuilders and theyve died alot faster than the ones rebuilt with a decent kit id say try finding a rebuilder and then find out what he can do for ya here i swear by Anderson Transmission but im clear across the country from ya

Why not rebuild it yourself? I did and its holding up to my 454 with 500 hp no problem at all.

Eric I've got a guy here in town that will build you one cheap with quality parts. I'm running the TH350 I got from him from a few years ago and cost me less than $400 installed. He will gurantee his work and also makes his own converters to your stall. If you want let me know and I'll PM you his number.

OCBAUD-Im from edmond Ok and had mine rebuilt in the city at Trans Unlimited. They did a real good job and it has performed great, I paid 750$ but mines just stock rebuild so it will probly be a little more. All the other places wanted 1000$ or up so I felt it was a good deal.

I was quoted $925 for a rebuild with stout components (some Corvette stuff).
