will these caps fit on 1984 GMC Blazer rally wheels? I'm going to use the rallys on my 70 GMC

from my understanding, these are attached with double threaded lug nuts. That's the problem. I think that the double threaded nuts are metric, which would mean I would have to change the SAE lugs on my truck. Hoping someone knows if this is true or not......

I've read on here that you can get lug nuts for our trucks with the outside threads for the modern caps.
no link though...some one will chime in.

Turn the caps over and see if there are long skinny tabs coming down from the top. If there are, they should have caps on the ends. Take the caps off and they should line up with the holes in your wheels. Just secure them with 1/4 - 20 screws.

They work real well, but as said you'll need to get special lug nuts to that fit your 7/16" thread lugs and the metric thread nut caps. I picked up my lugs from stockton wheel. I use the newer style caps on my 70 and they fit and work great. I had a set of caps on the 82 for a while, but kept them when I sold the 82.

I have the old style ralleys on my 96, using the centercaps and they look great in my opinion. I like the look of these caps on just about any year of our trucks.

This is what mine looked like. You can still use chrome lug nuts. I know these will work. You'll have check the newer style.

I can top that because I bought 32 of them for my 3/4 ton. The best price I could find online for the lugnuts was $1.25 each. I ended up going to my local hubcap shop and getting them for a dollar each. You could also try the junkyard. I know Astro vans had these in 1/2" thread.

I got a set for my 3/4 ton at the Springfield, Ohio swap meet a couple of years ago. They were like $1.00 apiece. I'm sure they can be found elsewhere? Hope this helps?

I was given brand new 1997 Chevy truck ralleys and center Caps. I have a GMC and didnt want Chevy caps. So I sold them to another board member here and I bought these GMC caps. They can with the Black screw caps and new lugg nuts. I got a REALLY nice deal and they were brand new too. Heres a pic..

those double threaded lugs came sae or metric from the factory, i think it depended on the year of the truck,the older ones had the sae [88-92]? i found a set of sae at a swap meet to put those centers caps and ralley wheels on my trailer.

The 6 lug ones came on light duty 88-98 3/4 ton trucks, and for 99 - current Chevys and GMC's. When I say light duty 3/4 ton, I mean the 3/4 ton trucks equipped with smaller 9.5" ring gear 14 bolt without floating hubs. All floating hub 14 bolts were 8 lug.

Now...Here's my cheap redneck way of saving cash lug nuts on my '67 1 ton. I only used 2 of the threaded lug nuts to hold the caps on my 1 ton. I glued the other 6 to the cap with Gorilla Glue. I lined the "live ones" up horizontally with bowtie so I know which 2 to take off when I remove the cap. I have driven it around alot and they haven't loosened or cmae off. The cap comes off a lot quicker with just 2 also!!
