Header question!!
I'm looking a good set of headers for my 350 auto 72 swb 4x4. I had some block huger headers on this motor when I bought the truck, but to me it looks like they were mocked up to fit this truck, looks like a pigeon welded them . It don't matter chrome, ceramic, or black just want to know what will clear the starter or any other problems I need to look for when purchasing headers. thanks guy's

I put FlowTech headers (P/N 11500) on my 69 stroker. They fit fine, pretty much down and back. Bought them at O'reillys Auto Parts for less than $100.

I bought a cheap set from advanced and they fit the big problem was to get the passenger side on I had to remove the starter to get the flange through then sorta kinda bolt the starter and header all up at the same time. Would have helped to have eight arms and hands but between my brother and I we got them. On the drivers side I had to remove my brake booster to get it down and in then re install the booster after they were in. Just my experience with none custom headers.
