how do I fix....had wreck
OK.......I had a wreck last year and now my truck has just been sitting there. I think I have some frame damage. My truck hit another truck hard with it's ball hitch sticking strait out. It literally bent my bumper into a "V" on one side. I could see that where the bumper is mounted the arms are bent. Is this the fram. And am I hosed on this frame? Ifr So I'm going to find a rolling chassis and start over.

Good frame shops can do a lot on frames. If only one frame horn is bent, it might be worth checking out the cost of straightening it. I would suggest having someone with frame experience look at it.

i rear ended another trucks trailer hitch pretty hard . I broke my engine mounts andmy motor slip forward and burst the radiator then the driveshaft fell out. I removed the bumper. I had to replace the bumperand the arms that hold the bumper. the only place my frame was bent was the small holes at the very front that bolt directly into the bumper.

I'm thinking I just ned to find a whole new chassis. If I can find a SB rolling chassis with a bed, that would be cool.

I'm wondering if the "arm" that is bent is just the bumper mounting bracket, as you say it was hit more to one side. Bumper brace is easy to replace. It takes a pretty hard hit to bend the actual frame, and unless the frame is really hosed, it can be bent back a little if needed. If you could get some pics that would help. If you could remove the bumper and take some pics that would be even better.

You are in Cali, I don't think people can even give these truck away over there, much less a rolling chassis.
