help with intake manifold
so i'm new with carbs, but in know when i see something wrong...there was a stock quadrajet on this manifold...it didn't line up at all...

i wouls say your options are endless just may need to use an adaptor from your local parts house

Looks like a Weiand single plane..
Not sure which adapter you need, as I don't know alot about carbs, but this link should be helpful.

Welcome!!
A quadra-jet is a spreadbore carb (rear bores are bigger) and that intake is a spreadbore intake. No adaptor is needed. Just get a new base gasket and put it on. You can find carb spacers which may make for a better fit between the two however, just ask for a spreadbore carb spacer. Last edited by NeCrOmAnCeR; 07-05-2005 at 10:42 AM. |
