Heya, i bought my first set of these old skewl clear tails from a member on this site actually (cohino12???) ! The second set i bought, which is on my daily driver came from a lady off ebay (both sets basically brand new) . Unfortunately they don't make em nemore, but look hot for sure. I found if you really want em, you have to be persistant and willing too pay a generous price. If you find em for a good deal, take em, even if you don't want em, someone else will! I think these look way better than the new Euro ones, and seeing as they don't make em nemore, value is going way up! I was told too expect major hasles from the cops cuz they are illegal, hence no red reflector in em, but i have have had zero complaints from police! Good luck! ... heres a pik of me last weekend, the clear tails look soooo much better!, i think...

Go to your local RV dealer that carries Monaco, made in Indiana. They have them on the big rigs. On my way home from Florida in February this year, I got a price from a dealer in Georgia at $11.50 each. If he had stock I would have bought 6 or 8. He said he could get them in 3-4 days but I was heading home.
The big rigs, 2002 model I think, had one full red, one full orange and one full clear. I bought full red for my truck from a local dealer here in Ontario. I will buy a few clear ones on my next trip to Florida. Order on the way down and pick up on the way home. I know lots of guys here who want them. Happy hunting! |
