WTT 71 taillight lens for 67 lens - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hi All,

Someone else brought me a set of new reverse lens and a set of tail/brake lens, and all four lens are marked with the year 71 on them. Does anyone have any 67 marked lens that are brand new that they would be willing to trade for my 71 marked lens? I will pay shipping both ways....

Can you tell by the GM part # or do you have to open the package? I have some GM NOS but don't want to open them.

Don't know the answer to that one.

All I do know is that the lens will have a two digit number which generally means the year. Don't open them up as they are more valuable to your business that way. I can use the 71 lenses, I am just being anal about putting as much correct 67 parts back onto my truck.
