Edelbrock products

I want to clear the air on questions regarding saving money buying imitation manifolds & other cheap auto parts.
I have never been dissapointed with any Edelbrock product I've ever bought. In over 40 years of wrenching for a hobby & living, I can only say that about a very few companies.
I am not an employee of Edelbrock.

I have only had problems from Edelbrock parts caused by my own stupidity.

Faithful Edelbrock customer here too. 10+ years, numerous products, not a single problem.

Even with the used stuff I buy, no issues, except for the stripped hole on ocasion. The remand carbs sometimes have problems. Bought a new reman'd one that Gave me serious fits. Put it on, got the truck to start, instantly reved to 3K before I shut it off. Could not get the butterflies to close, choke and idle screws ineffective. After several R&R's, clearance and throttle checks, head scratching, and a few beers... finally got mad, took it back, and exchanged for another one. Worked great after that.

Re: Edelbrock products

I bought the edelbrock MPI system and had several problems with it. I contacted Summit Racing, they contacted edelbrock. Edelbrock then contacted me and gave me a name of a person who was local and had great experence with the system. Problem solved!!!!

Re: Edelbrock products

I agree,Edelbrock is top-notch.Not sure what is meant by the "cheap imitation" reference, though. As far as intake manifolds go,there are many makers worthy of comparison to Edelbrock.Edelbrock carbs(Weber,or whatever)aren`t the only good carb out there. They are the new kid on the block,as far as headers go.And,only made for late-models.I`m sure the quality is,once again,top-notch.Just like many other header companies that have decades to base a reputation on.Edelbrock is a large, heavily marketed corporation that has managed to keep a high level of quality and customer support often lost by going "big".They are an example to follow for all corporations.
