anyone near chicago???

I was wondering if anyone was in or around chicago, and might be able to check out a blazer for me, I have gotten a wierd description of a blazer I am looking at, and wanted to see if it would be possible for someone in the area to check it out for me, before i make the 6 hour trip.....I have gotten descriptions of rust......through rust....but very small.....kind in the area of that thing in the door.....and some small holes in the floor....but they are all fixed now......with bondo and spray in bedliner......I would like to know what kinda holes I am looking at here.....and he doesnt have a digital camera.

If anyone is in the area, and has the time, it would be appreciated, you can call or PM me (802) 598-4303

Thanks,
-Lee

Tell him to buy a disposable camera, take lots of pic's, use all 24 exposures,
have them developed on to a picture cd, then mail you the cd, and you mail
him $20 for his troubles, well worth it if you are serious about getting it

It was an auction, I am not too heart broken, as you have noted, its not impossible in this day and age to get pictures on a digital format, the auction looks like it will close with only one bidder, his loss, but I will not buy a vehicle without at LEAST having pictures of rust and the 'backyard' repairs used to fix them.....especially after reading the post about the spray in insulation foam in the rocker boxes!
The search continues!

Shelby,

I live in a western suburb of Chicago. If it doesn't sell out of that auction, let me know and I might be able to get up and take some pics, depending on where it is.
