Help with lowering

OK, im new to this site and i am working on an 83 swb and i want to lower it and i and gonne buy some 2 1/2 drop spindles and some 1 inch drop springs, and my question is can i get the right alinment in the front with the 1 inch drop springs?

Absolutely without a doubt you can. Just take it to a reputable shop and have them align it after you put the springs in. They won't have a problem getting it to factory specs with just a 1" drop spring, or even a 2" drop spring for that matter.

One thing to add, Im just guessing here, but Id almost bet that the difference in the 1" drop spring & the age/sag that your factory springs have will be almost the same. Alignment wont be an issue at all though...

How much lowering with springs can you do before the truck can't be aligned without issues? thanks
