Door weatherstripping?
Who sells the best fitting door gaskets and weatherstripping for the top? I thought somebody had something on this not too long ago but I can't find it. I would prefer somebody other than LMC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Brothers has good quality seals. They cost a little more, but the quality is better than what you would get from LMC.

Re: Door weatherstripping?
I just put on a full set from LMC. I didn't have any problems.
Honestly, I would be suprised if there is more than one manufacture of seals for our rigs. Two at the very most. There isn't enough of a market for more multiple manufactures.

Re: Door weatherstripping?
Thanks for the response and yeah that is a good point on the manufacturers. I just haven't had much luck with LMC.

Check out GMCPauls.com
I've seen a few threads about them & top notch quality.

Re: Door weatherstripping?
There is more then one manufacturer of weatherstripping. The LMC weatherstripping I bought a few years ago is falling apart. I wouldn't go back for more from them.
GMC Paul, Mothertruckers, Brothers and a few others offer a lifetime warranty on certain pieces so shop around. Might be a good idea to put together a grouping and perhaps you can get a deal on quantity/shipping but keep in mind, not every piece has this warranty!! You also need to keep your receipt (every notice how places that offer a lifetime warranty print a reciept on paper that the printing goes invisable in about 6 months!hehehe) Huck |
