New in (north central) Oklahoma

Hi. I really like this site.
I have had my truck only since November 2005, and have been reading this board daily since I found it nearly 2 weeks ago, and seeing it really makes me feel good about having one of these great old trucks.

Anyway, my truck is a 1970 C/10, V8 350, medium gold & white; and was a single family owned farm truck. It hadn't been driven since 2000 until I got it and put a new TH350 tranny in it, and put new lifters in the engine.

Here is a picture:

Thank you for looking!!! I have more pictures at my site.

Re: New in (north central) Oklahoma

I would like to eventually restore it. For now, it is my daily driver, and I am, section at a time, tackling all the suspension/steering parts. It is going to look pretty much the same color/stock when I am done. As it is now, its got a lot of miles and wear on it. The PO's father used the truck as a farm/work truck building wire fences.

I like seeming everyone's project pictures here... Gives a lot of good detail/ideas.

Re: New in (north central) Oklahoma

Welcome from West Tennessee. Warning, driving your project can cause long delays in the reconstruction. My 72 C/10 that I've had since Jan. 2001 is still loaded with toolboxes and taking me to work daily. Looks like you've got a good sound foundation to build on. Good luck
