Re: newbie from kentucky
Moonlight is not the best BBQ, the best BBQ in Owensboro is Old Hickory, Moonlight just does more advertising. If your in Owensboro sometime hit me up with a PM, I'll get you some good BBQ, Moonlight has a buffet that why they are popular there BBQ isn't very good.
We do need to have a little meet of somekind but right now I am away at school in Bowling Green so now isn't really a good time to meet unless we meet in Bowling Green or on a weekend, I am always up for a mini road trip!

Re: newbie from kentucky
Well, since I went ahead and threw an announcement up on the regions forum, I guess I'll just go ahead and stick to the plan, and judge the BBQ for myself. I'm a buffet kind of guy anyway.

Re: newbie from kentucky
Well if you like Buffet you'll probably like moonlight its pretty good but just not the best, they do have the most available on their buffet though. I don't think I can make it there on Tuesday but if I can I will let you know.

Re: newbie from kentucky
definatley know where owensboro is. it's about 25 minutes if you take the bypass. spent many a long night at windy hollow. i'm too busy for a get together right now. just bought a house and i'm in a mad thrash to get everything done to move in. but we have a lot of members close enough that we should have a meeting soon. moonlights ok, but, i don't think it mesures up to the hype.
