Hey dudes,
My computer's been broke since may. And its been a busy summer, so ive been doing without. Its fixed now! Andy, glad to here your making progress. A Caddy Motor!!??? Why? Torque? Free?? Put that GMC motor 'with a hell-of-a cam' in it. Does it have front disc brakes yet? I found a hell of a deal last month. A 71 suburban 1/2 ton. Orange with a white roof. 402 big block with th 400 trans and 89,000 miles. Its got crome bumpers and upper and lower trim and bumper guards and windsield moldings and vent windows and hubcaps... it got a A/C unit attached to the inside roof , but has a non A/C heater controls. It blows air and the compressor comes on, and its got pressure, i think it needs some R-12. All i did was put a battery in it and a gallon of gas and drove it home. $400..........dont hate me! Its got new dual exaust and sounds awsome. Correct me if im wrong but 71 402's had 310 horse power. Right? Anyway, its good to be back. I like the new forum. Randy
