I don't have access to my truck right now but I need to order some parts. Is there a way (without pulling the wheels off) to find out whether I have 1" or 1 1/4" rotors?
My truck is a '78 Chevy, LWB, 305, 2wd, Scottsdale, no A/C, single gas tank on the passenger side. If you need other info, just ask. Thanks!

Re: rotor thickness
I don't think so, the rotor thickness' varied so much on these truck...there is no definate way to tell based on the options your truck has. This was discussed a while back and we pretty much all came to this conclusion.

Re: rotor thickness
Evan,
FWIW, and not to start cross-fire ![]() If you have the system on the glove box door, the book shows the JB1, 3, 5, 6, 7 all have the 1 1/4, while the hydroboost numbers are JB8 and JF9. If you had to make a purchase cold, it seems like you'd be more likely to use the 1 1/4 rotors. I realize there's a slight difference in years between yours and mine, but the odds would seem to favor the 1.25's. Juzt my dos centavos ![]() Brian |
