Official member of the club!

New member to the Blazer club - and for only a $300 membership fee I've never really looked for one, but I couldn't turn this one down. A guy was planning on fixing it up but was involved in a serious car accident a few years ago. It hasn't been cranked or moved in over 2 years and the guy said he would never be able to restore it due to some lingering health problems. I trailered it home, installed a hot battery, filed the points and she fired right up. The more I tinker with it, the more I love it! I have a 72 K-20 but the Blazer is more fun! It is not a CST but has 350/350, ps, pb, a/c and skid plate. The only drawback - no top. I'll wait till winter to look for one

Re: Official member of the club!

I was waiting for some one to bring up the bench seat....

Seems like the NON cst blazers are more rare in fact!

Since yours isnt it obviously didnt come with buckets or chrome bumpers i guess huh?

Very cool.... looks like you and your son are enjoying it already as is!

edit: wait a sec, that rear bumper aint chrome is it??!?!?

Re: Official member of the club!

Actually, it did come with buckets, but they had been swapped out at some point (guess I'll be looking for a top and seats now!). It lists the "auxiliary heavy duty seat" which would have been the passenger's side bucket seat. I'm not sure about the rear chrome bumper. I'm sure it was added also since there is no mention of it on the option decal.

Re: Official member of the club!

It also has the fuel tube cover, only about 1/2 of those survived, most
people take them off to access the fuel tube and never put them back.

I've got a double wall top in pretty good shape if you're interested. And I'm in Georgia so I bet we could meet. Let me know if you're interested.

Nice blazer btw!! I'll give you $500 for it
