.sbc valve cover question.....
..I found a set of sbc valve covers in a box of "unknown" origin..the word "chevrolet" is written in "script"..what years did they do this....thank you

mostly 283's if the bolt holes are directly across from each other. 57-67 -- I do not know about the 265's prior to 57 --others may know more

Prior to 57, the valve covers had staggered holes. That means the two top bolts were closer together than the bottom two.
