4 1/2"/6" on 17's?
Ok, I already looked through the wheel and tire fitment sticky and didnt find what I was looking for. I'm considering a 4 1/2"/ 6" - (2 1/2" spindle and 2" spring) drop kit for my 70 C-10 on 17" wheels. My question is, will I have any rubbing/fitment issues with that setup, or will I need to cut my inner fenders out? Thanks guys!

What size of tires are you going to use?

Probably a 45 series tire. Could I get away with 255's in the front and 275's in the back?

Re: 4 1/2"/6" on 17's?
Yes, you can run a 255/50/17 in the front and a 275/50/17 in the rear with that drop no problem. You must have the wheel backspacing proper though. I run 4.5 or 5 inch backspacing on an 8 inch wide wheel.

Will i have to use the extreme drop crossmember or can I get away without it? And also, how hard will it be to bolt in a big block? Will the suspension hold up?

If you go with the dropped crossmember (along with the other drop stuff) you may have to remove/modify your inner fenders due to clearance.
