Re: The $25000 question!
Wow - looks like a nice truck, but.....
I'm always leary of private bidder auctions like this one. I can see how some users have had issues with others spamming their bidders, but I still don't like it. |

Nice to see lots of good pics on that auction. Will be interesting to watch, seems like a high price to start at.

Re: The $25000 question!
Been driven in the salt since...Non-original color/interior,rebuilt motor(6 years ago),cracked windshield, seal leak...I dunno.May have been worth that six years ago,not me.You can get big bucks for a fresh restoration. But,run it for 6 years daily, nah. He needs to figure his use off that price, then a little more for poor taste.

Re: The $25000 question!
I think he's got a good looking truck that's pretty original with some nice options. If I had 7 or 8 K, I'd run up the road and try to buy it. I think he's dreaming at that price, but I applaud him for throwing a $25,000 B.I.N up there and hoping he'd hit the right fish.

Re: The $25000 question!
Besides all that, there's a very real possibility that he doesn't want to sell, but if he could get that much for it, he'd be happy to. How many of you wouldn't do exactly what he did if your wife was nagging you to sell your truck? Now when she says, "I wish you'd sell that old piece of junk." He says, "I'm trying to, I put it on eBay."

Never mind the Buy it Now price, I would have a hard time putting down the opening bid for $14K!

Re: The $25000 question!
The B.I.N price is pretty ballsy, but the opening bid is rediculous. I'd be suprised if he gets a bid. Should have started it at $100. The B.I.N. price would let the bidder now what he thought it was worth.
I've owned a daily driven salt and snow paint job before, and there is lots of rust he's not telling about.

Re: The $25000 question!
I dont live where they salt the roads but does it matter if its kept ina garage when its driven in the snow and salt??? I would have to see that one in person before I bought it...... BTW my price would be lower than the B.I.N.

Re: The $25000 question!
I hope it sells for his buy it now price, That will only help the price of our blazers go up. If I had 25 million in the bank I would definetly bid on that blazer.
