another truck

I just picked up another truck, titled as 81 chevy sport looks like h#ll but over all in better shape then most i have seen lately. I sat for the past 10 years but for the heck of it, I hooked a battery to and dumped allitle gas in the carb and it fired right up. Basically bought for parts but just might have to rework it and get it back on the road

Re: another truck

Wow, that is something else, but if it serves your purpose, that is all that matters. What all parts do you plan to get from it? or are you decided to get it back on the road? That would deffinitely make for some great before and after shots.

Re: another truck

Believe it or not, the cab has real nice floors and cab supports, needs very little cab corner and rocker work, the bedside are real nice and i do have the rear fender for that are alot nicer then most i have seen lately, I also have other doors to put on it. But it does need complete brake system so after I tear into it and clean things up abit i will see what my plan will be

Re: another truck

Nice find, where did you manage to pick that up. I am going to start tearing into my cab corners and rockers myself. Stepper parts are always good to have around. Good luck.

Haha tell that to the $1800 order I'm fixing to make from Chevy Duty... an entire new box short of fenders and steps.

Nice find. And to me it seems steppers do a lil' better in the cab corner department, since you can actually clean down there a lil easier.

Good luck with your buildup (or build down, if you go that route)

P.S.... are those bedsides good?

Re: another truck

the bedside are all but prefect and the rear fenders are not to bad either that was the reason for buying the truck. It also has a rear slider and a sunroof, which is sealed well cuz with the rain we been having lately it is dry on the inside
