Out with the old, in with the new
Been working on getting the 327 out and the 466 in. Everything went real good. No major problems. Dropped her in, hooked her up and she fired off first try. Perfect. Just have a few little tweeking and cleaning up the engine bay to do. Excellent throttle response, nice lope. Still have to get the exhaust welded up then she is ready for the first drive. I am so relieved to hear her fire up. Was hoping to get everything completed for tonights cruise night, but maybe next month. Will have to drive my 65 Mustang tonight.

Hoo Ray on the install it looks really good. What size exhaust are you going to use and what mufflers and where will they exit the truck?

Re: Out with the old, in with the new
Thank you for the nice comments. I am running dual 2 1/2" 40 series Flowmaster turndowns (just before rear axel). I think the headers are 1 7/8". Just cheap Autozone FlowTechs for now. I plan on upgrading them soon. These were $100.00 and I just used them for test fitting and break in.

Cool thats my favorite setup too. It's gonna have that killer mellow rumble especially being a big block. Thanks for posting the picks too, cuz thats added motivation for me and my small block sitting on the engine stand.
