What's a good price ?
My buddy voice mailed me this weekend that he found a 55 or 56 Cameo for sale , it's a total project truck . It is all there , and pretty rust free , i don't believe it has any drive train , it's just a roller , which is o.k. with me as i would hot rod it anyway . Do you think this would be in the 10k $$$ range .
I've wanted a Cameo for years. Thanks ............................. 409.

Re: What's a good price ?
Here's what a current bid of 10K will get you..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...QQcmdZViewItem Funny thing about Cameos is they can command a big price, in any condition. If I were wanting/buying one, I'd make sure that all of the "Cameo Specific Parts" are there and in good shape, then pay the price it takes to get it. You can wrap up a small fortune in repairing a bad box and finding missing parts. |

Re: What's a good price ?
Thank you , thats exactly what i needed . Damn those Cameo's are spendy .
I don't really want to have to sell a couple of good running 68's just to get a project , probably have to pass . Thanks again ................................ 409.

Re: What's a good price ?
There is one around $2500 at a junkyard in S Carolina, I was surprised it was so cheap, still there, amazing.

Re: What's a good price ?
That one is a good example of the owner not knowing he has parts truck and thinking he has a rare collector truck.
This is what $10,000 should get you in a cameo http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...QQcmdZViewItem Last edited by dwcsr; 07-05-2006 at 06:04 PM. |
