69 Chevy to 65 GMC swap
Hey all...normally i post in the 67-72 section, but my truck's body is startin to fall apart and i have the opportunity to purchase a '65 GMC for $800. the truck is in really good condition, whereas my current 69 is in horrendous condition. it would take me well over $800 to restore my '69, so i was wondering how difficult an engine and tranny swap would be for this. I'm thinkin header clearance and crossmember position and such. I have the facilities to do the swap, just wonderin about sizing issues. I have a 350 sb with dynomax ceramic coated headers and a 350 th tranny. Thanks!

Re: 69 Chevy to 65 GMC swap
The only thing I can think of would be if the GMC had a 6 cylinder then you would have to move the motor mounts and Trans crossmember. I would think your headers would work also.
