1970 Swiss Fire Truck
Got a phone call today out of the blue from someone asking questions about old chevy trucks.
Guy says he's got a 70 K20 that was imported to Switzerland and converted to a fire/rescue vehicle and could I look at it and give him some info. This is what showed up. |

Now thats just plain sweet. Not to take away from its current condition but I can picture that thing in camo colors parked at a camping spot deep in the woods.

Re: 1970 Swiss Fire Truck
That is awesome just the way it is! I'm curious if the doors behind the front doors are just compartments or if there's extra seating back there- I can't tell.

Re: 1970 Swiss Fire Truck
With only around 18,000 miles, a nearly new 292.
Then he asked if I wanted to go for a ride, I told him I had to put the camera away and when I came back out he was sitting in the passengers seat. Yep, he let me drive it. |

Re: 1970 Swiss Fire Truck
They 'burbed it! Made it into a 4-door shortbed Suburban. Cool. And with a KPH speedo, you can do 120 on the interstate!
