master cyd to booster help
i am puttin on power brakes on my 70 and have lost the rod that goes inbetween the booster and master cyd , anybody know how long that is and what i can make another one out of ? ,i think a valve cover t bolt ( ya know the ones you dont have to havea wrench to tightin them with) is about the same diam. but i dont know the length i got to get this thing fixed its my dd and i have to have it up and running by tommarow

Well, I just happen to have mine sitting right here with a vernier caliper in my hand, whats the chance of that? Probably only on this board !
The measuring Genie says its 2.486" long and .365" in diameter. The M/C end is radiused to .100" of the length but has a .125" flat in the center. I just put a '96 Tahoe booster and M/C in mine cuz it sits flat against the firewall and I'd be willing to part with this rod if you need one. PM me |
