Plastic Case - What Is It?
Wish I had a pic to show but I don't. I recently found in a salvaged Suburban, not sure what year it was, most likely late 80's or early 90's, a white plastic case with the name "Suburban" and the "Bowtie" logo printed on the front in blue. The case has a black flip-style latch on the side and the case opens at about the top 1/3rd like a cigerette lighter would. Appprox. 5" tall, about 1 3/4" thick and about 4" wide, appears to be water proof with the type of seal at the seperation. Also has a black woven cord mounted to the top thru a round eyelet. Never seen one before, anyone have an idea what it is and original purpose? Works great to carry the wife's "hands free" cell phone mike in it. Just hang it from the rear view and it hangs low enough that it does interfere with vision. Would like to know what it is, like to get one for myself in my 71 4x4 or the work car. ??????

Was it a factory piece or somthing like a keychain or promo item?
