Lowering the rear end
I have a c-20 and the wheels and tires need to be changed. However the rear end is so high in the air. I know it is meant to be this way. I would like to bring it dowun to about the same hight as the front. I am happy with the front height. So I figured when I am getting new tires and wheels I might as well see about lowering the rear.
Does anyone know what I would need to do or have done. I would like to have it done right. i dont plan on carrying anything super heavy or ever towing anything. ***What chrome or polished wheels look good on this truck with an 8 lug pattern. Looking for some ideas if you have any. Thanks, Chad |

Re: Lowering the rear end
Look aroudn on Cardomain for rims....you need to decide size. Here's something I like...it has classic mag look to it, but it's an alloy....a Colorado Custom Van Nuys 8.....
Rear flip kit for your leafed truck. Or you could get lowered/rearched springs. Or you could put a different shackle/different hanger kit on it. The flip will bring the truck down about 3-4". Shackle/hanger will bring it down about 2". Cheapest is going with the shackle/hanger kit.

Re: Lowering the rear end
Air ride technologies make a kit called "Airoverleaf" that you drop all but the top leaf and put on some air bags. Looks pretty slick. the kit is free but the sticker it comes with will set you back $300
