Checking Interest 90 Blazer
I'm picking up a 90 blazer next week and only need/want the 383ci that's in it along with any associated parts that are necessary to do the TBI swap.
Maybe only the motor/TBI parts if I can't find a use for the rebuilt 700r/241, dunno yet. Anybody need 'stuff'? I'll check the truck over for usable parts when I get it home. I'll do pics then also. |

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
I will pay you well and thank you wholeheartedly if you would sell me everthing to do the 90 grille conversion if it's in good shape (rad support, grille, headlight buckets, wiring, headlights, signals)...
We can either freight it or do it via greyhound, but I am VERY interested if it is in decent shape.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
Actually, we wouldn't have to freight it... All of the small stuff could just go in one box via UPS, and the grille and rad support prob wouldn't cost too much individually either.

Ring gear from the rear would be nice seeing as how I'm missing two teeth.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
We can start a trade route haha.
I'm in souteast Pennsylvania, I'll be going to Hickory, NC after Christmas. Now all we need is for someone to come to my area from Vermont. |

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
If the parts requested are good/usable and available, I'll reply back to everybody as they appear on this thread with a pm.
To do thing's right, I'll be putting a 'parting out thread' in the for sale section on the board when thing's start to come off. I don't pick it up until Saturday, Dec. 9th. |

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
Pics to follow...
This blazer is lets just say...tired. The front end looks okay but the plastic grill insert is busted. I'll look into the rad support once it's off of the trailer. The interior is gray and looks to be fairly complete but again, tired. Speaker holes in the lower door panels too. Has a tilt column and console but the console is missing the center holder and again is pretty tired. I'll be tearing into it in the coming weeks so I'll put up a "parting out" thread then. Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
The front assembly looks decent enough for a daily driver.
Let me know what you would want for the complete from assembly- grille, LH/RH light bezels, headlights and buckets, core support, turn signals, headlights and light wiring (even if you hack about 18" off the stock wiring will be ok...) I can replace the grille... no problem. All I would want from the grille is the chevy emblem. I will pay for the grille as part of the package, but you can basically do with it what you want. Let me know what you want and then I can do some research on shipping. Figure we can put everything in a box and UPS it, except the rad support and maybe greyhound that. Might not be that bad... Let me know what you would want for the steering wheel too.. Thanks!

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
If the stereo wiring isn't hacked up,... I could use about 18" of the wiring and all the oem GM stereo plugs. Thanks, lolife99. See this thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=218389

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer
FYI vtblazer, I think the thread is probably better left where it is... The 88-91's are still considered a part of the 73-87's since most of Chevy's 88 fleet was so drastically changed. 88-98's are the new body style trucks.

If the Lund Moonvisor is in great shape, and the price is right, I'll take it. PM me the info on it if you can. My zip is 55448. Thanks!
