got a lead on a 6.0 lq9 & tranny, have ???
A good friend of mine gave me a lead on someone he knows, has a 6.0 and tranny out of an AWD escalade. He was not sure what tranny, and he seems to think it is complete, with harness/ecm. For what the guy is asking, it's hard to pass, but I am guessing I would have to try and get rid of the tranny, because it is awd? Or is it usable in my truck? 86 c/10?
If it does come with all thw harness/ecm, i'll probably get it. He says it has like 13k miles. Anyway, just wanted to find out, what the options for the tranny would be. thx all... maybe one step closer to FI....maybe my wheels will have to wait...lol |

That would be a 4L60E transmission, not sure if a 2 wheel drive tailhousing will bolt on a 4 wheel drive case. Doubt it but I can check tomorrow.

You can't put a 2WD tailhousing on a 4x4 trans. You need a 4x2 trans.
