Need help with top side window rubber single wall or double wall?

I'm getting very close to replacing all the glass in my Blazer. I went to a glass place today, and they are going to do it. I do however need to find a source for the weatherstrip just in case they ruin one or more. I've looked in the LMC catalog, a local parts place and at brothers trucks, and they all say it's for the double wall top. I thought the double wall top was on the base models, and did not contain the dome lights, but when I look at the Brother's website, they say the double wall top was the one on the more deluxe model with the dome light. Which is it? I need to be sure before I do this.

If it bolts down from the top on the side rails its a single. If it bolts up from underneath its a double. Yes the light in the top is a single. As far as models has nothing to do with being deluxe or not. I have 2 cst's with doubles owned a plain jane 72 that had a single. They weren't available until 72 Advantages lighter and don't have to remove side panels to remove top

The dome light only came on the single wall, never on the double.

I can just about guarantee that if it's removed it's ruined, remember it's 30+ years old

Has anyone replaced the side glass in a single wall top?

Re: Need help with top side window rubber single wall or double wall?

We do have the single wall top seal. It is not on our website for some reason. That's being fixed. The part # for the single wall is 1565
Part # for hte double wall is 4354

Brothers I think he is asking about the side window glass weatherstrips. I have looked for them as well for single wall top and found none.

Re: Need help with top side window rubber single wall or double wall?

They are actually on the website now, as a pair. However, I am still confused by the descriptions of each one. They have the single wall top as being available in 69-70 and rare, but it was available in 72 with the dome lights. They also have the double wall top as the deluxe version containing the dome lights when it does not have any lights as far as I know. What's true? Can anyone verify what is correct?

Re: Need help with top side window rubber single wall or double wall?

Pound41 is correct in identifing the differences in the tops. The easiest way to tell is that the Single wall top will bolt downward from inside the top & the double wall top will bolt upward from inside the bedside. We do carry both style of side window seals.
Single wall part # 1565 sold as a pair
Double wall Part # 4354 sold each

Wow I had discussed this earlier this year for a buddy that I gave my single wall to. Now I can tell him where to buy the rubber.
